Before they were in the Backstreet Boys, Howie and A.J
would often audition for the same acting rolls! Little did they know back then that they
would become, in addition to world-famous, best friends.
Attention fiends! When asked if they get tired of all
the focus on their lives, Kevin explained, "Sometimes you would like to go unnoticed,
but overall, we're pretty much hams and we love the attention."
Church choir was Brian's vocal training ground--it
must have been divine inspiration that made his voice so gosh darn sweet!
Kevin has a long list of singing faves--Boys II Men,
Elton John, Prince, Sting, New Edition, and The Temptations--just to name a few.
Scent of a Backstreet Boy! Kevin's fave cologne is XS
by Paco Rabanne, Brian's is Photo by Lagerfield, and Howie's is Cool Water by Davidoff.
Though the boys have gone through some rough times
such as the loss of Howie's sister and Brian's heart surgery, they've tried to remain
positive by setting up funds that will help aid other people.
Real estate is Howie's other passion besides being an
entertainer. With his earnings from his BSB career, he has purchased condominiums in
Florida. Who knows, some day, Howie might be your landlord!
Everyone has to have their bad habits. A.J says that
his faults are being impatient and talking too much!
Education first! Howie says that he would definitely
be in college if he wasn't a Backstreet Boy, and A.J says that he would be studying
psychology because, "I just like getting inside of people's heads," he
confesses.
The song that Howie and Nick admit is their all time
fave BSB song is "All I Have To Give."
Believe it or not, Howie studied ballet
professionally--no wonder he's such a great dancer!
"On-stage I try to be as stupid and crazy as possible. Offstage, you can try
to act as normal as you can," A.J philosophizes.
Yes, it is true that Nick has been approached to do
feature films, but his first allegiance is to the Backstreet Boys, so he hasn't decided if
he's going to appear on the big screen yet.
So, if there's a fire and Nick had to go back for one
thing, he said it would be his Nintendo and a copy of Mortal Kombat 4!
